Inspired by a shared dream, Gemma and Jason have artfully woven their latest architectural residence, Le Viti Farmhouse into the tapestry of its stunning landscape. This creation stands as a living ode to European architecture, a heartfelt tribute to the grounding way of life they have come to embrace. In twenty-seventeen, Gemma and Jase ventured to the Northern Rivers, chasing Gemma’s long-held dream. Jase agreed to a year’s trial, with the promise that if the family did not love the area, they would return to Sydney. Yet, within just three weeks of renting in the Byron Hinterland, Jase found himself irresistibly captivated by the land and its way of life—the togetherness between people here, and the connection with the ocean waves, and the ancient trees create a rhythm of serene and profound beauty.
The family arrived at an open house, only to discover it was auction day.
From a location point of view, the whole family fell instantly in love with Newrybar and this special parcel of land So Jase registered to bid.
Caught up in the whirlwind of bidding, Jase placed a final bid after a flurry of rapid offers and a few quick online checks of past sales. Gemma and Jase secured the property, only to wonder, amidst their excitement, what they would do next with a home in need of a thoughtful makeover.
Gemma and Jase never wished to demolish and rebuild the barn or the farmhouse, honoring its rich history.
